Peake ReLeaf is pulling up to HBCUCon 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this one-of-a-kind celebration of Black geek culture, creativity, and community. On June 22, we will be setting up shop at the HBCU Geek Fest Vendor Exhibition, and we’re bringing good vibes, great energy, and a few surprises with us.
From cosplay and video games to culture-forward panels and curated experiences, HBCUCon is all about honoring the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while creating space for every kind of Black nerd to feel seen, celebrated, and affirmed. And as a dispensary rooted in wellness, inclusion, and real connection, we’re proud to be in the mix.
In this blog, we’ll fill you in on what HBCUCon is all about and where you’ll find us when you get there.
What is HBCUCon?
Designed to bridge the gap between HBCU legacy and the global community of Black geeks, gamers, creatives, and culture-shapers, HBCUCon is a bold, joyful celebration of Pan-Africanism, inclusion, and self-expression.
This year’s theme is HBCU Geek Fest 2025. It’s an immersive, 420-friendly experience where creativity and community collide. They’ve got:
- A full video game arcade powered by MAGFest
- Live music, DJs, and performances to set the vibe
- Thought-provoking nerdy panels and discussions
- A stunning cosplay showcase and pro photo ops
- Complimentary bites like fried chicken and waffles, veggie wontons, and petite lamb racks
- A stacked vendor exhibition filled with apparel, art, tech, and lifestyle brands
HBCUCon is intentional about centering Black joy, welcoming geeks of all genders, backgrounds, and fandoms into a space that uplifts creativity and connection.

Catch us at the Peake Performance Recharge Station on the patio lounge, where we’ll be setting up a space designed to help you recharge, connect, and have a little fun between panels and performances. We’re still finalizing the full setup, but here’s what you can expect at our booth:
- Arcade vibes: Play a few rounds and tap into your competitive side.
- Recharge station: Take a breather, charge your phone, and chill for a minute.
- Exclusive Peake apparel and giveaways: Grab some merch while it lasts.
- Partnering with Wyld: We’ll be spotlighting some of their products and sharing why they’re a favorite for wellness and flavor lovers alike.
Doesn’t matter if you’re deep into cosplay, there for the panels, or just vibing with the community, our space is open to everyone looking for a good time and a good conversation.
